Common questions
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Creating an account and starting your free trial or free supplier listing requires no payment information. You only enter card details when you decide to upgrade.
How does per-user pricing work?
Each paid subscription plan is billed per user, per month. For example, if you are on the Small plan at EUR 249 per user / month and have 3 team members, your monthly bill is EUR 747. Adding or removing team members automatically adjusts your Stripe subscription quantity, and charges are prorated.
What happens after my 14-day procurement trial ends?
Your account moves to a limited free workspace. You keep access to your history, projects, and dashboard, and can send up to 5 RFQs per month. Paid procurement plans remove all limits. You can upgrade at any time from your billing settings.
What counts as an RFQ for my monthly allowance?
For suppliers, an RFQ allowance is consumed the first time you open an RFQ for full review inside the platform, unless you unlock that RFQ separately. Your monthly allowance resets on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused allowance does not carry over.
What are the first 3 free RFQs for suppliers?
When you join as a supplier, your first 3 RFQs that you open for full review are completely free — no subscription, no success fee. This is a one-time onboarding grace period, not a monthly benefit. After those 3 are used, you move onto your monthly plan allowance.
What is the RFQ unlock fee and when does it apply?
If you receive an RFQ and your monthly allowance is exhausted, you can pay a flat EUR 100 one-time fee to access that specific RFQ. This is a single payment for a single RFQ — it does not recur and does not affect your subscription. You are not required to upgrade your plan.
What is the platform success fee for suppliers?
A 2% platform fee applies to attributable transaction value on business won through the platform, once your onboarding grace period is used. The fee is capped at EUR 20,000 per transaction. Fees are reviewed by our team before invoicing — you will not be billed automatically without notice.
What counts as attributable revenue for the success fee?
Revenue is considered attributable when the full sourcing workflow — from RFQ through quotation to purchase order — was completed on the platform. We do not charge fees on business that originated outside ChemCapital.
Can I upgrade or downgrade mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe prorates the charge. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I have both a procurement and supplier company profile?
Yes. You can operate separate procurement and supplier company profiles under the same login.
